Doreen Green, better known as Squirrel Girl, is a Marvel Comics character known for her unique abilities and optimistic personality. She first appeared in Marvel Super-Heroes vol. 2, #8 (Winter 1991–1992), created by Will Murray and Steve Ditko.
Squirrel Girl possesses superhuman strength, agility, and senses akin to a squirrel. Most notably, she can communicate with squirrels and command them to assist her in battles. She has a large bushy tail and prominent buck teeth, both squirrel-like features.
Despite the seemingly silly nature of her powers, Squirrel Girl has a surprisingly impressive track record, having defeated powerful villains such as Doctor Doom, Thanos, and MODOK.
